Title of Internship: Colloidal Suspension Between Walls
Brownian dynamic computer simulations were used to study the behavior of colloidal particles in complex fluids confined between walls. By varying forces and densities a quasi-two-dimensional system was produced along with a phase transition to a crystalline-like order. These data could be used to further enhance and develop more complicated systems such as those with proteins in membranes.
